My Flute Studio is based in Andergrove, Mackay. My home studio is a place for students to establish, expand and continue learning the flute. Whether you have a young person just starting out, or are an experienced player who wants to either continue to play, or start playing again, I want to help you on your journey!
A Passion for Flute
I started my flute journey as an eager 8 year old in a school fife band. From there, when my primary school offered instrumental lessons, I chose a flute and the rest is history! I have over 25 years experience, playing in community wind bands and orchestras, as well as some solo performances. I teach flute in a school instrumental program and my home studio, and also teach classroom music. I hold an AMEB diploma on flute and a Bachelor Music/Bachelor Education (Secondary).
My flute studio offers lessons of 30 mins to 1 hour, depending on your individual needs. There is also the option of group theory/musicianship lessons as required, and flute ensemble lessons (duos/trios/etc).
A flute choir may be an option for students high school aged and beyond. This will be held at another location TBA.
